Old Mill
Studios is a high-end recording studios integrating vintage analogue equipment and instruments with modern digital recording systems. located in a 17th century mill converted into a live arts
theatre in Strathaven, just outside of Glasgow. As a result the theatre space is used as the live room and offers a large and versatile space in which to record groups of musicians playing any kind of music. The Studio offers the relaxed and inspiring environment of
the old mill featuring the original stonework and high quality acoustics
of this historic building.
Old Mill Studios is situated next to an old castle on the edge
of the town. It is however, only two minutes walk from the town centre
and across the road from a snooker/pool hall and free car parking.

Joe Purdy has just released his latest album Last Clock on the Wall, recorded at Old Mill Studios. It is available to listen to and buy on his website. Some photos by Neale Smith are on the media page. Diamond Sea and There Will Be Fireworks will be releasing their albums soon.
