Old Mill Studios is located in Strathaven South Lanarkshire on Stonehouse Road. Strathaven is a small town in central Scotland to the South of Glasgow, Hamilton and East Kilbride. The easiest way to travel to Strathaven is via the M74 motorway heading south for Carlisle. Leave the M74 at junction 8, then at T-junction turn left onto A71 signposted Kilmarnock. At the first roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A71 signposted Kilmarnock, Stonehouse and Strathaven.

At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit again following the signs for Kilmarnock. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A71. At the final roundabout before leaving Stonehouse take the 2nd exit onto Strathaven Road - A71 Continue forward past the ESSO garage and leave Stonehouse travel 2 miles entering Strathaven onto Stonehouse Road - A71. The Mill is on the left hand side a short distance into Strathaven just before the Castle. If you reach a roundabout within Strathaven you have gone to far.

Traveling from East Kilbride follow the A726 Glasgow Road to Strathaven through the town turning left after Scotmid past the Church onto Waterside street. At the T junction turn left past the Star Inn Public house. At the next T junction turn right onto the roundabout where you will be facing the Castle and the Town Mill to its left hand side. Taking the first exit left onto Stonehouse road and then your first right down to the Town Mill.

Traveling from Carluke travel down across the Garrion bridge and follow the A71 towards Kilmarnock as mentioned in the directions mentioned upon leaving the M74.

The images below are to help illustrate how to get to Old Mill Studios. The road down hill between the town mill and the castle is where the studio is located. The town mill building on stonehouse road is shown by the first of the two larger photos. The studio is situated behind Stonehouse Road. Park at the top of the hill on the right hand side nearest the wall surrounding the castle. Looking down the hill you will see the studio building illustrated by the second of the two larger photos. The Main entrance is the brown door to the right of the fir tree. The White door is the stage door. Hope that helps.
