recording without the price tag. Rates start at £200. For the price we offer a full days
recording, mixing and mastering with an engineer all set within
The Mill. The studio provides a relaxed and inspiring environment

Special offer £555 for a 3 day recording block
The Old Mill Recording Studios is offering
a reduced rate for a 3 day block. This works out at a reduced rate
of £185 per 10 hour day.
Special offer £900 for a 5 day recording block
The Old Mill Recording Studios is offering
a reduced rate for a 5 day block. This works out at a reduced rate
of £180 per 10 hour day.

Live Concert Recording: Contact us
Old Mill studios has the unique advantage of doubling as a live venue. If you would like to record a gig for a live CD the studio theatre is the ideal location for exclusive and intimate performances in front of 120 fans. Mobile Recording:
Starting rate of £30 per hour
The Old Mill has a fully portable setup
and has the possibility to bring the studio to your location for Live
and multitrack recordings. The studio is available to record live
performances at gigs or band practices.
Audio
and Vinyl Restoration: £25 per hour
Having worked with various artists
to help restore audio recordings, the studio recently worked with
renowned Scottish singer Ronald Morrison to re-master old recordings
from cassette and vinyl onto CD. The Old Mill have a range of hardware
and software equipment to restore old or noisy recordings. Capable
of removing unwanted rumble, tape hiss, crackles and pops restoring
the audio to its original glory.

The main theatre has the addition of
a grand piano. The second recording space is much more reflective,
with a longer reverb to suit certain musical tastes and styles. A
choice of smaller rooms is also available for more intimate recordings,
and varied acoustical characteristics.
The Studio Setup records digitally
using Cubase SX 2.0. Our main recording involves using three class
A 8-channel Pre-amps. This
gives us the possibility to record 24 sources at once directly onto
hard-disc. The studio is available for recording EP’s, albums,
Live recordings and other projects. The studio features an equipment
list including Focusrite, Mackie, Ridge Farm, FMR Audio, Roland, Presonus,
Joe Meek, Rode, Shure, Behringer, AKG, Line 6 and Alesis. Go
